Club Notes
Things are looking brighter for the start of 2021. Hopefully we will be able to return to a more normal Rotary year.
The current restrictions and access to schools has meant that the normal celebration of the Junior Rotary Community Awards has been cancelled and we are replacing it with a Rotary and Partners night at the Barn on the 26th of November. Please let Lesley know if you are attending.
8 students from St Brendan's Primary School have completed the Junior Rotary Community Award and we are planning on presenting them with their awards at the schools final assembly for the year. When we have more details I will circulate them to members. It has been a fantastic effort by those students to complete the program in such an upturned year.
The Bemm River fishing weekend is looking good for this weekend. It is never to late to hook up the caravan or put in a tent and make the trip to Bemm River.

Congratulations to Pam and Tom
Club members Pam and Tom, have purchased a business in Orbost. The club wishes them every success . Keep them in mind when looking for plants and garden supplies. Take a Sunday drive, visit Pam and Tom and have lunch in Orbost.
The Buchan Races in February 2021 looks to be a potential major fundraiser for our club. Our club has been asked to conduct the silent auction, and we will also be paid to assist with the parking
The club is also looking at planning a festival weekend during March 2021 to welcome visitors back to Lakes Entrance.
Hopefully we will be able to commence our Saturday Raffles at the Lakes Sports and Community Club in 2021.
Several members are assisting with the delivery of EFRFA Christmas Hampers . I will email details if more assistance is required.
