Thank you to all members and partners who were able to make our BBQ evening at Apex Park last Wednesday. Apart from the strong Easterly breeze it was a great social evening.
The night was a chance for members to meet and chat to 3 potential new members, Michael Kelpin, Ken Page and Jeff Hooper.
CANNI CREEK RACES

LAKES ENTRANCE CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Bruce on being named the Lakes Entrance Citizen of the Year at the Lions Club Australia Day Breakfast on Tuesday. Bruce was presented with his award by Rotarian and Councillor, Arthur Allen
AUSTRALIA DAY
Sadly the Duck Race and Fireworks were cancelled from our Australia Day celebrations.
A reminder that Friday 19th of February our club is hosting a dinner provided by the Lakes Entrance Lions Club for the members of the Recreation Vehicle Club. The evening will be at St Brendans Hall at a cost of $30 , this will include your meal and raffle tickets for the evening. You only need to BYO drink. Peter Sindrey is organising this event, so its guaranteed to be a great evening.
We will need volunteers around 3:30pm on the day to set the hall up.

INNER WHEEL
Bairnsdale Inner Wheel Club will hold their walkathon on 20th February at St. Brendans school oval, Lakes Entrance 8am till 11am. Please come along and help raise funds for Cord Blood Research.
