Our Club meets via ZOOM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month while we are limited with social gatherings.
Club Notes
It was pleasing to see most members on line for last nights ZOOM meeting. We are still having some internet challenges preventing some members and friends from being able to come on line.
Masks were the order of the day for last nights meeting. Lesley had gone to great effort to create a fixed smile, while the football challenges were also on display. There was plenty of muffled conversation so member's needed to be unmasked.
Thanks to Bernie Farquhar for an informative presentation on Santuary East Gippsland, a Conservation Centre of Excellence and World-Class Eco-Cultural-Tourism Hub. The proposal is in response to the devastation arising from the bushfires and an opportunity to build facilities, fight extinction and create centres that offer visitors an immersive eco-cultural-tourism experience. Building on the experience and skills of the East Gippsland Cluster of Rotary Clubs management of the East Gippsland Rotary Fire Aide, the project team is currently doing a feasibility study and seeking clubs' support of the proposal.
A copy of the presentation will be emailed to members .

NEW LOOK OUT
The new lookout at Hotel Road is nearing completion and well worth taking time to have a look.
Leave your microphone on mute and hold your space bar down when you wish to talk. Holding the space bare down temporarily unmutes your microphone.
Reminder
The planning documents for Jemmy’s Point have now been released for public comment.
All information, including a brief video presentation, appears at the site which can be accessed via the Shire Council Website, or the link below. The plans will also be published in this weeks Lakes Post.
I encourage all members of Rotary and Friends of Rotary to take the opportunity to provide feedback on the plans and assist in the development of a fantastic Lookout at Jemmy's Point.
